Associate Market Development Manager – Surabaya, Indonesia

Job Summary:

Novo Nordisk Indonesia is seeking a motivated Associate Market Development Manager to join the Future Portfolio & Commercial Excellence team in Surabaya. In this strategic role, you will lead commercial partnership initiatives to drive business growth and enhance patient access across diabetes and obesity therapy areas. If you have a strong background in business development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, this is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient-centered innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement strategic partnerships aligned with Novo Nordisk's portfolio growth goals.

  • Scout, evaluate, and engage potential partners including eHealth, clinics, insurers, and corporate health providers.

  • Lead negotiation and contracting processes, ensuring alignment with legal, finance, marketing, and market access functions.

  • Build strong business cases and partnership models, covering financial, strategic, and operational perspectives.

  • Manage ongoing partnerships, ensuring alignment with KPIs, strategic objectives, and continuous performance improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Proven project management and contract negotiation experience.

  • Prior experience working with healthcare decision-makers and multifunctional teams.

  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
