Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our Patient Services team. The role focuses on benefit verification, prior authorization, and reimbursement support within the US healthcare landscape. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare or insurance support roles and should be comfortable working night shifts to support US-based clients and patients.


Key Responsibilities

🔍 Benefit Verification

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and plan benefits.

  • Liaise with insurance companies to confirm and document accurate benefit details.

  • Update patient records and internal systems accordingly.

💰 Reimbursement Support

  • Assist patients in understanding reimbursement options and eligibility.

  • Submit and follow up on reimbursement claims to ensure timely processing.

Prior Authorization

  • Obtain necessary prior authorizations for prescribed medications and procedures.

  • Communicate and coordinate with healthcare providers and payers.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all authorization activities and outcomes.

📞 Call Handling

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls professionally and empathetically.

  • Resolve patient queries related to insurance, coverage, and reimbursement.

  • Document interactions accurately in CRM or healthcare management systems.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (required).

  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Life Sciences.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, insurance, benefit verification, reimbursement, or prior authorization.

  • Strong knowledge of US insurance policies, reimbursement workflows, and payer interactions.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using healthcare systems and tools (e.g., CRMs, EMRs).

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain high attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working in night shifts (US business hours).
