Job Overview

The Associate Medical Data Review Manager provides comprehensive medical review and clinical data oversight to deliver high-quality data management outputs. The role includes structured patient data review from a clinician’s perspective and project management support to ensure data accuracy, medical plausibility, and protocol compliance.


Essential Functions

Medical & Clinical Data Review

  • Identify data anomalies to ensure medical congruency and protocol adherence.

  • Conduct structured review of patient-level clinical data.

Project Management Support

  • Provide project management expertise with minimal guidance.

  • Collaborate with clinical study teams and internal stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous process improvements and issue escalation.

  • Manage workload projections and deliver technical guidance.

Compliance & Quality Oversight

  • Track service performance metrics and support leadership in root cause analysis.

  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance and quality issues.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance task efficiency and quality of deliverables.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

  • Provide therapeutic area/indication training to project clinical teams.

  • Participate in kick-off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings as required.


Qualifications

Education

  • MBBS with 2+ years of experience, or

  • MD (any specialization) — freshers eligible.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in clinical data sciences at a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or medical setting.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience required.

  • Strong understanding of clinical and medical data.

  • Ability to interpret clinical/medical data accurately.
