Job Overview
Provide comprehensive medical review expertise to deliver high-quality clinical data management outputs. Offer project management support for structured patient data review from a clinician’s perspective.
Essential Functions
Medical Review & Data Quality
Identify patient anomalies to ensure medical congruency and plausibility per study protocol.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for medical data review.
Deliver therapeutic area/indication training to project team members.
Project & Process Management
Provide project management expertise with limited guidance while collaborating with clinical study teams and internal stakeholders.
Support continuous process improvement, issue escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise.
Track service performance and help identify root causes of issues.
Implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
Compliance & Relationship Management
Maintain strong customer relationships.
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance-related issues.
Participate in project meetings including Kick-Off meetings, weekly team meetings, and client meetings when required.
Qualifications
Education
MBBS with 2+ years of experience OR
MD (any specialty) – experience/fresher allowed
Experience & Skills
Experience in clinical data sciences within a CRO, pharma company, or medical setting (leadership experience required).
Strong understanding of clinical and medical data.
Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
Ability to focus on both medical assessment and operational metrics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management and coaching skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to multitask across multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
