Job Overview:
As an Associate Medical Data Review Manager, you will bring your medical expertise to ensure quality and congruency in patient data review within clinical studies. You will support project management tasks, collaborate with clinical teams, and lead structured reviews of subject data from a clinician’s perspective to enhance data accuracy, integrity, and study compliance.
Essential Functions:
Identify anomalies in patient data to confirm medical plausibility per clinical protocol.
Support project management activities with minimal supervision, working alongside clinical study teams and internal stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage issue escalation effectively.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and support.
Monitor service performance, assist in identifying root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and follow up on any compliance-related concerns.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for therapeutic areas and clinical review processes.
Promote efficiency and deliver high-quality outputs by identifying process optimization opportunities.
Provide project-specific therapeutic area training to clinical team members.
Participate in project meetings including Kick-Offs, weekly updates, and client sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: MBBS with 2+ years of experience, or MD (any experience/fresher).
Experience:
Background in clinical data sciences within CROs, pharma, or healthcare settings.
Demonstrated leadership capability in medical data review or clinical operations.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
Clinically trained with an operational understanding of metrics and project status reporting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration mindset.
Ability to effectively lead and coach within cross-functional teams.
