Job Summary

Medpace is seeking an Allergist – Medical Director to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Medical Director will provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership for the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials.

This position will serve as an internal medical expert, offering scientific input and support for the review, presentation, and interpretation of clinical study data.
Additionally, the Medical Director will contribute to the design, development, and oversight of new clinical research projects and study protocols.

Hybrid work-from-home flexibility is offered. With the right experience, this role can also be fully remote.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical management and oversight of clinical trials

  • Offer scientific and strategic input in the design and conduct of studies

  • Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and publications

  • Manage safety issues in clinical trials and collaborate with associates for evaluation and assessment

  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and sponsor meetings

  • Coordinate with internal teams during all phases of studies — including feasibility, design, training, and medical documentation review

  • Ensure compliance with research protocols and adherence to Medpace policies


Qualifications

  • M.D. degree with specialization in Allergy

  • Eligible to obtain a medical license

  • Board Certification preferred

  • Clinical trial research experience preferred

  • Prior pharmaceutical or CRO experience desirable

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
