Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Delivery

  • Collaborate with the Training Lead to design, plan, and execute customized training initiatives for Sales Representatives (MRs) and First Line Managers (FLMs) in emerging markets.

  • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions, including induction programs, basic training, product & therapy knowledge, selling skills, and on-the-job coaching through joint field work.

  • Develop training modules, presentations, and digital content aligned with business goals, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Drive Manager Development Programs to strengthen coaching skills for FLMs.

Learning Management & Analytics

  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) accounts for users, content, and data tracking.

  • Maintain and update training records, monitor attendance, adoption, and learning effectiveness.

  • Deliver digital learning initiatives through e-learning modules and track analytics for better retention and performance outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, and Medical teams to align training programs with business objectives.

  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, hospital managers, and learning vendors to ensure quality and effectiveness.

  • Map impact of training interventions and identify gaps for continuous improvement.

Field & International Training

  • Conduct on-the-job training and field visits to assess and improve sales and managerial capabilities.

  • Support international training initiatives with frequent travel (approx. 60–70%).


Required Experience & Competencies

Educational Qualification

  • Degree in Health Sciences with knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial or marketing functions.

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years in training roles within a pharmaceutical organization.

  • 5+ years of prior experience as MR or FLM in pharma sales.

  • Prior exposure to international markets is advantageous.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and virtual training tools.

  • Expertise in instructional design and training delivery.

  • Learning agility with ability to adapt in multicultural and dynamic environments.

  • Team player with multitasking capability.

  • Valid passport for international travel.


Physical Requirements & Travel

  • Primarily office-based with frequent international travel to conduct training programs and field work.
