Position Overview

The Trainer – RCM AR will be responsible for training, mentoring, and onboarding staff and leaders in accounts receivable (AR) processes, denial management, and billing operations. The role requires hands-on experience in RCM AR processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop and deliver training content effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer for AR calling, denial management, and medical billing processes.

  • Mentor and guide new joiners and leaders joining the organization to ensure smooth transition and operational readiness.

  • Develop and maintain training content, presentations, and manuals using tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Articulate, and Adobe Weaver.

  • Monitor trainee performance, provide structured feedback, and ensure adherence to AR process standards.

  • Collaborate with process owners and SMEs to identify knowledge gaps and design customized learning solutions.

  • Provide hands-on support during transitions, process updates, and system upgrades in the AR domain.

  • Ensure all training and operational practices comply with RCM policies, regulatory guidelines, and client-specific standards.

  • Share best practices and continuous improvement insights to enhance team performance and efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years in medical billing, RCM, or AR processes, with prior experience as a Trainer, Process Coach, or Subject Matter Expert (SME).

  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Accounts Receivable, and denial management processes.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and training/content development tools (Articulate, Adobe Weaver, etc.).

    • Exposure to hospital billing, dental billing, or healthcare billing systems.

  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to train and mentor diverse teams in a matrix organizational environment.
