Role Overview
The Sr. Program Advisor – Commercial Program Governance (Global) is responsible for overseeing governance, compliance, and end-to-end execution of Patient Support Programs (PSP) and Primary Marketing Research (PMR) initiatives. This role ensures that all global programs operate in alignment with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), pharmacovigilance requirements, regulatory expectations, and performance metrics.

This position partners closely with Global Program Owners, Quality Assurance teams, and regional stakeholders to ensure compliant commercial program execution across markets. Key Responsibilities

Commercial Program Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure execution of PSP and PMR programs in alignment with global and local governance standards.

  • Monitor adherence to approved SOPs and defined performance metrics.

  • Verify completion of required pharmacovigilance and Adverse Event (AE) reporting training before field activities begin.

  • Confirm that all local assessments, approvals, and working practices are implemented across regions and franchises.

Program Oversight & Execution Management

  • Support Global Business Owners in the initiation and operationalization of PSP and PMR programs.

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of global programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and coordination.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Program Owners regarding governance-related queries and issue resolution.

  • Manage transitions of Global Program Owner responsibilities to ensure operational continuity.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Quality Assurance

  • Engage with SQA Managers, CPSR teams, Program Advisors, and Global Commercial Governance teams to ensure compliant delivery.

  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness across program lifecycles.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between commercial, compliance, and quality teams.

Risk Management & Regulatory Alignment

  • Ensure programs meet pharmacovigilance requirements and adverse event reporting standards.

  • Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Support continuous improvement of governance frameworks across commercial operations.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Patient Support Programs, Commercial Governance, Compliance, Pharmacovigilance, or Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-regional programs.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance requirements and AE reporting processes.

  • Experience working with cross-functional global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
