Role Summary:

The Territory Manager – CardioMetabolic Health will promote Lilly’s cardiometabolic portfolio across healthcare professionals in Mumbai. This individual will drive territory-level sales, establish strong client relationships, educate stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all industry and company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by implementing strategic sales plans in assigned territory.

  • Identify new business opportunities and build lasting relationships with HCPs, pharmacists, and stockists.

  • Develop a detailed territory action plan, update target lists, and ensure pharmacy coverage.

  • Promote Lilly’s products using Value-Based Selling techniques and approved marketing tools.

  • Provide scientific information and support to HCPs; respond to inquiries accurately and ethically.

  • Organize HCP meetings, awareness programs for nurses and pharmacists, and participate in medical conferences.

  • Manage product availability and stock levels at local stockists; analyze sales trends and conduct audits.

  • Ensure all promotional activities follow UCPMP guidelines and internal SOPs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • 2–5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in MNCs.

  • Experience in Diabetes/Metabolic therapeutic areas is preferred.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of ethical compliance and UCPMP codes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.

  • High energy, proactive, results-driven with a passion to make a difference.
