Job Title

Territory Business Manager


Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Territory Business Manager to drive the sales of pharmaceutical products in the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, conducting prescription audits, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring effective territory data management.


Roles & Responsibilities

Market & Business Development

  • Collect market intelligence on competitors and prescription trends through stockists and chemists, and report insights to SBM/RSM.

  • Conduct Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) to identify high-potential prescribers for forecasting.

  • Execute marketing and product launch activities, including doctor engagement programs, CMEs, and health camps.

Sales Execution

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by SBM/RSM.

  • Conduct regular product detailing, sales pitches, and presentations to doctors.

  • Monitor new product performance with chemists and ensure product availability through effective stockist coordination.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Manage doctor queries on existing and new products by coordinating with the Infogini team for timely responses.

  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships with doctors, ensuring brand loyalty.

  • Organize CME events and prepare engagement plans for key opinion leaders.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain updated records of doctors, chemists, route maps, and supply chain contacts in internal systems.

  • Report prescription trends and customer insights regularly to SBM/RSM.

  • Submit reimbursement bills and ensure proper budget utilization for promotional activities.


Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate with a Science background (mandatory).

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.

Skills & Attributes

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, sales, and marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry trends and sales analysis.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
