Job Summary

The Territory Business Executive (Sales Representative) is at the forefront of our customer interactions and sales performance. As the face of Novartis, this role focuses on building deep, meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and stakeholders to drive sales growth ethically and compliantly, delivering exceptional value to customers and patients.


Key Responsibilities

Drive Competitive Sales Growth

  • Identify high-potential HCPs and stakeholders using data analysis to influence prescription decisions.
  • Drive sales by orchestrating positive customer experiences that exceed expectations.

Engage and Build Relationships

  • Conduct value-based conversations (in-person and virtual) to address customer challenges, decision drivers, and opportunities.
  • Personalize and orchestrate customer engagement journeys based on preferences and multiple engagement channels.
  • Establish and sustain collaborations with HCPs to create long-term value beyond clinical differentiation.
  • Build effective relationships with opinion leaders and medical influencers to improve patient outcomes.

Develop Customer Insights

  • Gather and analyze customer insights to uncover priorities and deliver added value.
  • Leverage data sources to prioritize and adapt territory, account, and interaction plans dynamically.
  • Share insights with internal stakeholders to support product campaigns and customer engagement strategies.

Deliver Value to Customers and Patients

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement solutions addressing unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner by providing ethical, transparent, and respectful interactions.
  • Uphold the Novartis Code of Ethics and Values in all activities.

Role Requirements

  • Experience:

    • Established network with target customer groups preferred.
    • Sales experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
    • Pre-launch activity exposure and market knowledge are desirable.
  • Skills:

    • Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Deep understanding of the evolving dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
