Research Nurse – Dallas, TX (Weekend Overnight Shift)

Fortrea, a global leader in early-phase clinical trials, is hiring Research Nurses (RNs, LPNs, or certified Paramedics) for its Dallas, TX location. Join a pioneering team focused on developing the next generation of safe and effective therapies. Work directly with participants and gain hands-on experience in first-in-human and pharmacokinetic studies.

Position Type: Full-time
Shift: Weekend Overnight (Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Location: On-site – Dallas, TX
Salary Range: Not specified
Experience Level: Entry-level (0–1 years)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care during clinical trials

  • Perform cannulations, telemetry, vitals, ECGs, venipuncture

  • Administer investigational drugs per protocol guidelines

  • Collect/process biological samples and maintain accurate documentation

  • Educate participants and obtain informed consent

  • Observe and record adverse events and act accordingly

  • Transcribe data to Case Report Forms (CRFs) and e-systems

  • Maintain compliance with ICH-GCP, safety, and ethical standards

  • Adapt to changing priorities in a high-paced environment


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • Current RN or LPN license in applicable state (Paramedics must be certified)

  • 0–1 years of clinical experience in nursing or emergency care

  • EMT, CMA, CNA, or Phlebotomy certification preferred

  • Strong time management and adaptability

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Comfortable working in an electronic data capture environment

  • Commitment to protocol adherence and patient safety
