Job Description: Territory Business Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Territory Business Manager to drive pharmaceutical sales in the assigned territory. The role involves gathering market intelligence, conducting prescription audits, implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. You will also manage customer relationships, resolve queries from doctors, and ensure accurate territory data management.


Roles & Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Gather information on market trends and competition from stockists and chemists.

  • Relay relevant data to Sales Business Manager (SBM) or Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

  • Conduct Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) to identify high-prescribing doctors and share insights for sales forecasting.

Sales & Marketing Execution

  • Achieve sales targets as per goals set by SBM/RSM.

  • Implement marketing plans provided by the Product Manager.

  • Utilize allocated budgets to organize product launches, doctor engagement activities, medical camps, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions.

  • Track sales of new products with chemists to meet business objectives.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Conduct regular sales pitches and product presentations with doctors.

  • Maintain ongoing interactions with doctors to monitor and influence prescription trends.

  • Address doctors’ queries on new and existing products by coordinating with the Infogini team.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with doctors to enhance prescription loyalty.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain updated data on doctors, route maps, retailers, and supply chain contacts in internal systems.

  • Coordinate with stockists to ensure product delivery.

  • Collect and report Point of Business (POB) details from chemists.

  • Submit reimbursement bills and reports to SBM/RSM on time.

  • Prepare and submit doctor lists for CME events.

  • Ensure accurate management of sales activities to optimize performance.


Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate with a Science background.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in pharmaceutical sales.

  • Awareness of pharmaceutical sales trends and practices.

  • Ability to implement and analyze sales and marketing initiatives.
