Key Responsibilities:

Business/Customer Support:

  • Understand and anticipate the scientific needs of local/regional customers, including payers, patients, and healthcare providers.

  • Lead data analyses and clinical research efforts to address customer questions in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with global Medical Affairs, brand teams, and other cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of medical strategies supporting brand commercialization.

Scientific Data Dissemination/Exchange:

  • Comply with local laws, global policies, and guidelines regarding data dissemination and interactions with healthcare professionals.

  • Address unsolicited scientific information needs and support the preparation of medical letters and other related materials.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with scientific experts, thought leaders, and the broader medical community locally and regionally.

Clinical Planning & Clinical Research/Trial Execution:

  • Represent local clinical needs in the development of clinical strategies, study protocols, and development plans.

  • Ensure informed consent documents and risk profiles are appropriately communicated to study subjects.

  • Collaborate with clinical research teams in the design, execution, and reporting of local clinical trials.

Regulatory Support Activities:

  • Support the development and review of local labeling and modifications in collaboration with global teams.

  • Provide medical expertise to regulatory scientists and participate in advisory committees.

Scientific Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on trends in clinical practice and access in the relevant therapeutic areas, with a focus on both near-term and long-term projections.

  • Critically review medical literature and competitive product data to stay informed of scientific developments.

  • Serve as a scientific consultant and protocol expert for clinical study teams.


Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy.

  • Must be board-eligible or certified in the relevant specialty or subspecialty.

  • Completion of education and training at a medical school recognized by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Familiarity with the drug development process, especially relevant to the country/region.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to influence others and foster a positive working environment.
