Role Overview:

The Senior Training Manager is responsible for identifying and assessing the capabilities and commercial development needs of external organizations, specifically Oncology strategic partners. This role involves developing educational projects and training programs, setting up learning centers and training teams, and implementing education plans to ensure partners' organizations remain skilled and competent for their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capability Assessment: Assess the partner’s organizational capabilities and propose both short-term and long-term solutions to the management team.
  • Collaboration with Pfizer Teams: Work closely with Pfizer's medical, sales training, and medical affairs teams to develop and update knowledge transfer platforms and supporting programs.
  • Program Development: Develop education and training programs or content tailored to fast-changing business needs and a dynamic external market environment.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that training programs and resources are aligned with the shared business goals of Pfizer and Oncology strategic partners.
  • Consultation: Act as a consultant to evaluate individual and organizational capabilities, identifying weaknesses and ensuring training meets business needs and improves performance.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs by consulting with stakeholders and conducting needs assessments.
  • Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training solutions that meet business needs, build partner training teams, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Optimization: Optimize training processes and platforms to improve efficiency within partner organizations.
  • Resource Management: Select and manage resources, working with both internal employees and external partners to develop and deliver training.
  • Train-the-Trainer: Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for Compliance and Integrity, Promotional Activity Standards, and other related topics on the partner side.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical/Medicine are required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in human resources, field-force training, with a strong emphasis on project management roles.
  • Previous Roles: Experience as a Senior Training Manager, Associate Director, Lead, or in a similar position.
  • Full Training Cycle Expertise: Proven ability to complete the full training cycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of learning and development best practices.
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience within the China pharmaceutical industry, particularly with multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Skills: Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
