Job Overview:
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, WW Professional Education – OTTAVA to join its Medical Affairs Group. This leader will design and oversee the global training curriculum and professional education experience for OTTAVA, the company’s surgical robotic system. The role involves a blend of strategy, operations, and leadership to ensure the delivery of world-class education to clinical customers and trial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of global Professional Education Managers in customer training and support development.

  • Organize and lead training events aligned with platform development milestones.

  • Oversee training and support for surgical teams at clinical trial sites.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated, validated learning experience.

  • Partner with the commercial education team to align internal and customer-facing education strategies.

  • Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to improve training programs continually.

  • Create and maintain performance metrics to ensure training effectiveness and safety.

  • Develop a network of global faculty and manage curriculum development teams.

  • Ensure adherence to company safety and healthcare compliance policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years in healthcare commercial roles (Sales, Training, Prof Ed, Marketing, or Sales Management).

  • At least 3 years of experience with surgical platforms and procedures (Robotics, Energy, Endocutters, etc.).

  • Demonstrated success in project management and influence without authority.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Previous people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in learning and development program leadership.

  • Background in marketing or medical device education.

  • MBA or other post-graduate degree.

Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% domestic and international travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Pay Range: $168,000 – $271,400

  • Bonus Eligibility: Annual performance-based bonus
