Senior Clinical Specialist – Coronary (South Florida)

Location: Field-based | Company: Abbott Vascular
Salary Range: $66,700 – $133,300 USD
Work Mode: On-site/Field-Based (50% travel required)

Job Summary:

Abbott is seeking a Senior Clinical Specialist – Coronary to support its Vascular division in South Florida. This is a field-based role focused on providing expert clinical support in cardiac catheterization labs, interventional radiology labs, and operating rooms. You will lead case planning, education, and troubleshooting to support vessel closure and other vascular interventions. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with physicians and hospital teams to enhance clinical outcomes with cutting-edge vascular technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical expert for Abbott's vascular devices, especially in vessel closure

  • Support coronary cases in cardiac cath labs, IR labs, and ORs across assigned region

  • Educate physicians, nurses, and lab staff on proper device use and new technologies

  • Assist with product demonstrations and clinical in-servicing in various hospital settings

  • Build strong relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision-makers

  • Respond to product-related concerns and troubleshoot in real-time during procedures

  • Collaborate with regional teams to provide broader case support outside the core territory

  • Promote increased product adoption and pull-through with clinical insights

  • Travel approximately 50% within the designated territory


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and field experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant clinical or medical device experience

  • Strong experience supporting procedures in cardiac catheterization or OR environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in vascular technologies or interventional devices

  • Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) within South Florida

  • Technical certification or lab credentialing preferred

  • Effective communicator with ability to present and train in clinical settings
