Overview:
Join Amgen and lead a dynamic team dedicated to systematic literature reviews (SLRs) within the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) function. This pivotal leadership role will drive scientific rigor, timely delivery, and strategic alignment across global product lifecycles to support market access and value demonstration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Global HEOR SLR Analysts.
Oversee execution, quality control, and standard compliance of systematic literature reviews across therapeutic areas.
Develop research protocols, screening strategies, and data abstraction tools.
Align SLR deliverables with HEOR strategies in coordination with TA Heads.
Ensure reviews meet PRISMA, PICOS, and other recognized evidence synthesis standards.
Integrate SLRs into HTA submissions, global value dossiers, and publications.
Enhance workflows using innovative tools, including AI-based approaches.
Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluation within the SLR team.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate + 2 years’ experience in SLR/evidence synthesis
Master’s degree + 8–10 years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree + 10–14 years’ experience
Diploma + 14–18 years’ experience
(Relevant fields include Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences)
3+ years of team management experience required.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advanced proficiency in systematic review tools and citation databases (PubMed, EMBASE).
Experience with EndNote or other reference managers.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior medical writing experience is advantageous.
Demonstrated innovation in using AI tools to enhance literature review workflows.
