Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Cardiovascular Product Management will lead the launch of a first-of-its-kind disease-modifying drug for a serious cardiac condition. This role involves significant market-shaping activities across the continuum of care for patients and healthcare providers (HCPs). Responsibilities include developing brand strategy, pre-launch planning, post-launch commercial strategy, activation & engagement programs, continuous monitoring, and performance tracking.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • Develop brand planning and set strategic priorities for current and future indications of cardiology products.

  • Create an annual execution plan for national, regional, and local levels, including speaker programs, advisory boards, public relations events, and disease education initiatives.

  • Conceptualize and execute integrated brand campaigns, effectively communicating the science behind our products.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to monitor product performance and external environment trends, taking corrective action as needed to meet business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Market Insights & Opportunity Identification

  • Gather insights from market research and customer interactions to anticipate market developments and execute relevant tactical plans.

  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, ensuring brand growth and strategic positioning.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including:

    • Sales: Implement marketing strategies at the local level.

    • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulations.

    • Supply Chain & Quality: Enhance distribution/network efficiencies.

    • Medical Affairs: Organize speaker programs and training sessions.

  • Plan and execute key internal meetings such as Plan of Action and National Sales Meetings.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with external agencies, media partners, and key stakeholders.

Sales & Training Support

  • Ensure the sales team receives regular training on cardiovascular brands.

  • Equip sales representatives with the necessary tools and insights to drive engagement with healthcare professionals.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales & marketing, with at least 6+ years in pharmaceutical marketing (preferably in cardiology).

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Experience working with thought leaders in cardiology is an advantage.

Languages:

  • English (required), Hindi (nice to have)

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong ability to translate the patient journey into actionable insights and strategies.

  • Expertise in brand strategy, planning, go-to-market models, customer intelligence, and identifying key HCP and patient segments.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and execution capabilities.
