Job Description:
The AR Associate will be responsible for managing Denials Processing, Claims Follow-up, and Customer Service activities within the healthcare revenue cycle. The role involves contacting insurance carriers, updating documentation, ensuring collections targets are met, and maintaining adherence to client requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review emails for process and client updates.
Contact insurance carriers, document notes in software and spreadsheets, and take necessary action.
Identify and escalate issues to the immediate supervisor.
Maintain and update production logs.
Understand client requirements and project specifications.
Achieve targeted collections on a daily and monthly basis.
Meet productivity goals within stipulated timelines.
Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards.
Follow up on pending claims to ensure resolution.
Prepare and maintain status reports for management review.
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of healthcare Accounts Receivable processes.
Experience in denials processing, claims follow-up, or customer service in a BPO/medical billing environment.
Proficiency in process improvement, MIS reporting, and operations management.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
