Job Description:
The Trainer – Training will be responsible for conducting process and transition trainings for coding specialists, ensuring quality standards are maintained during ramp-up periods. The role involves creating and delivering training modules, providing floor support, and enhancing coders’ expertise in US-based healthcare systems. The position also includes onboarding new hires, updating training materials, and participating in client interactions to ensure training outcomes align with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process trainings for coding specialists.

  • Provide floor support to coders during transitions to maintain quality standards.

  • Deliver targeted training sessions to address quality improvement needs based on error analysis.

  • Publish monthly articles or updates on healthcare topics to enhance coder knowledge.

  • Ensure timely completion of onboarding and compliance training for new hires as per global and client requirements.

  • Participate in client calls, meetings, and knowledge transfer (KT) sessions as required.

  • Lead training on current updates in medical coding for US healthcare systems.

  • Train coders on US healthcare systems and protocols.

  • Create presentations, learning materials, handbooks, and other training resources.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of the coding process, coding system software, and workflow management.

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA.

  • Any graduate with ENM IP/OP experience in medical coding.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Work Mode & Shift:

  • Work From Office (WFO)
