Role Overview:
Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Trainee – R&D to join our Chennai facility. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh M.Sc Chemistry graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical research, process execution, and laboratory operations. The role provides exposure to cGMP-compliant practices, reaction optimization, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a global CDMO environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute laboratory reactions daily under guidance from senior scientists.

  • Maintain and handle laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration.

  • Strictly adhere to cGMP and GLP norms, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.

  • Document reaction processes accurately and maintain detailed lab records.

  • Contribute intellectually to process improvement and innovative approaches.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

  • Prepare weekly updates and final reports for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry (M.Sc).

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Strong interest in pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory techniques, and drug development.

  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, documentation standards, and research practices is an advantage.
