Role Overview:
Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Trainee – R&D to join our Chennai facility. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh M.Sc Chemistry graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical research, process execution, and laboratory operations. The role provides exposure to cGMP-compliant practices, reaction optimization, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a global CDMO environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute laboratory reactions daily under guidance from senior scientists.
Maintain and handle laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration.
Strictly adhere to cGMP and GLP norms, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
Document reaction processes accurately and maintain detailed lab records.
Contribute intellectually to process improvement and innovative approaches.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Prepare weekly updates and final reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Chemistry (M.Sc).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong interest in pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory techniques, and drug development.
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, documentation standards, and research practices is an advantage.
