Lead Trainer – Voice & Accent Coach – Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Trainer – Voice and Accent Coach to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team in Ambattur, Chennai. This role is ideal for professionals with 5+ years of experience in international BPO operations and a strong background in voice and accent coaching, language training, and call center operations.

The Lead Trainer will conduct training sessions, coach client partners, audit calls, and drive performance improvement by applying effective learning interventions and feedback mechanisms. This is an opportunity to lead training batches, mentor team members, and contribute directly to organizational excellence in client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct voice, accent, and language training sessions aligned with company standards

  • Audit calls and provide structured feedback to improve communication, pronunciation, and call handling

  • Coach bottom performers and track progress through customized interventions

  • Design and deliver on-floor coaching and feedback models

  • Create training materials, flyers, and session plans based on call audit insights

  • Support OJT (On-the-Job Training) and production ramp-up by monitoring and mentoring learners

  • Maintain detailed records of audits, feedback, coaching, and training sessions

  • Collaborate with operations stakeholders to implement and evaluate training programs

  • Evaluate trainees and report progress to supervisors

  • Interview new hires to assess language, voice, and accent proficiency

Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in international BPO operations

  • 3+ years of experience in language, voice, and accent training

  • 2+ years of hands-on international calling experience

  • Proven track record of conducting 70+ training batches

  • Minimum 1 year of call auditing and coaching experience focusing on language and call handling

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Certifications in English language teaching (BEC, CELTA, TESOL) are a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent command of English grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and spelling

  • Strong skills in training session planning, coaching methodologies, and feedback mechanisms

  • Proficient in MS Office tools and presentation software (PPT)

  • Confident in delivering training sessions to large audiences

  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of leading a team
