Role Overview

The Senior Biostatistician will contribute advanced expertise in biostatistical methods to research and development projects. This role involves designing, planning, and executing statistical components to support product safety, efficacy, and marketability, using innovative and evidence-based approaches.


Key Responsibilities

  • Study Design & Analysis:

    • Develop and execute biostatistical components of research projects.

    • Prepare statistical protocol sections aligning with health authority guidelines and clinical methodology.

    • Use statistical theories, methods, and software for study analysis.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Organize and interpret data for statistical inference and report preparation.

    • Provide specifications and guidance to clinical programmers.

    • Partner on program design and set standards for clinical conduct and reporting.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

    • Clearly and concisely communicate statistical concepts and procedures to diverse audiences.

    • Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure accurate project execution.


Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in biostatistics, with medical device or pharmaceutical clinical research experience preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Skilled in at least one statistical programming package (SAS or R preferred).

    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Additional Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication.

    • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
