Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical review of adverse events for both investigational and marketed products.
  • Ensure adherence to MedDRA, WHO-DRL, and safety databases such as ARGUS.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Pharmacovigilance (SPVG) teams for accurate case assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company SOPs.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage potential safety concerns.
  • Provide medical expertise in aggregate safety reports (e.g., PSURs, PADERs).
  • Stay updated on clinical advancements and pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Mentor and train safety staff to enhance team expertise.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical Degree (M.D., MBBS, D.O.) with accredited residency completion.
  • 1–2 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or device industry experience in pharmacovigilance/epidemiology is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, safety databases, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%).
