The Position: Medical Communications Specialist

As a key member of our Medical Communications team, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities include case processing of adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries, while contributing to industry-leading medical writing and communications efforts.

This role is part of EVERSANA’s integrated commercial services and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, quality, and excellence in delivering solutions to clients and healthcare professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Case Processing:

    • Process adverse event reports, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
    • Identify adverse events and product complaints during medical inquiry data entry.
    • Document and write adverse event and product quality complaint reports accurately.
  • Coordination and Evaluation:

    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments to address quality-related complaints.
    • Critically evaluate medical literature to provide evidence-based information to healthcare professionals.
  • Medical Writing:

    • Develop high-quality medical inquiry responses, case documentation, and correspondences.
    • Contribute to miscellaneous projects, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales training.
  • Collaboration and Innovation:

    • Foster a positive work environment by energizing team morale and encouraging participation.
    • Uphold integrity, ethics, and professionalism while demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) or Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.).
  • Experience:

    • At least 2 years of clinical experience or related roles in medical information, pharmacovigilance, or the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills:

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
