Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Technician for our Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in Daytona Beach, FL. This is a Monday-Friday, office-based position where you will directly contribute to Early Phase clinical trials, helping ensure the safety and efficacy of groundbreaking therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vital sign assessments, including blood pressure, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
  • Prepare and record ECGs/Holters with accuracy.
  • Collect, process, and distribute biological samples as specified in study protocols.
  • Monitor participant meals to ensure compliance with dietary requirements.
  • Prepare rooms and maintain medical equipment for study readiness.
  • Assist with participant screening and other study-related procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations based on clinical research standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 year of clinical research experience (recent graduates or those with clinical experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong adaptability in fast-paced, protocol-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing and adapting to changing tasks.
  • Teamwork and people skills to ensure study efficiency.
  • Comfort working with technology and electronic data collection.

Preferred:

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification.
  • Previous clinical experience.
