Research Associate I – Vantive, Bangalore

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory testing, including validation, verification, and stability studies.

  • Develop and propose analytical methods with minimal supervision.

  • Design, execute, and document protocols, reports, and SOPs.

  • Validate and transfer analytical methods; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Perform R&D stability testing to support product registration.

  • Ensure compliance with cGxP, ALCOA+ principles, and data integrity standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams across quality, regulatory, and operations.

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; adhere to health and safety standards.

  • Manage sample receiving and data entry in LIMS.

  • Participate in investigations of deviations, OOS/OOT results, and non-conformances.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or allied health disciplines.

  • 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, laboratory, or specimen management.

  • Strong practical knowledge of HPLC/UPLC, GC, AAS, Titrations.

  • Familiarity with software such as Empower, Chromeleon, and LIMS.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

  • Knowledge of GxP regulations, validation & stability guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Strong documentation, organizational, and technical writing abilities.
