Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Medical & Scientific Affairs Manager to lead scientific and medical initiatives in the assigned region. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills who can work independently, engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive medical excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in medico-marketing, field medical activities, and KOL engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Scientific & Medical Leadership:

  • Take ownership of all scientific activities in the assigned region, including planning and executing medical initiatives.

  • Actively participate in scientific programs as a speaker through lectures and presentations to healthcare professionals.

  • Conduct head-office driven HCP e-engagement platforms as per directives from the division head.

  • Facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the company and the medical community.

  • Liaise with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop long-term collaborative relationships and advocacy in various therapeutic areas.

  • Identify, segment, and develop KOLs based on specialty, experience, and academic interest.

  • Provide medical information support to field teams, ensuring accurate and updated information on latest research, standard-of-care recommendations, and therapeutic developments.

Field & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Conduct field visits with regional sales teams, including face-to-face or virtual interactions with HCPs.

  • Continuously update medical and product knowledge of field force and support regional training programs in coordination with the training team.

  • Provide scientific and competitive intelligence feedback from the region to the Medical Affairs and Marketing teams to ensure effective objection handling.

  • Ensure all activities are compliant with company policies, country regulations, and local industry codes of promotional practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD, MBBS, or equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Pharmacy.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Regional Medical Affairs, Medico-Marketing, or Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Proven experience in KOL engagement, scientific presentations, and medical information management.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and adapt to diverse working conditions.
