This is a Quality Assurance Specialist position at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), offering remote work with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Here’s a summary of key points for the role:

Major Duties:

  • Assist with certifications and accreditations in quality management systems.
  • Evaluate internal processes for compliance with regulations.
  • Identify and document quality improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Conduct performance audits to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Background Check: Required.
  • Probationary Period: May apply.
  • Selective Service Registration: Required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Education/Experience:
    • Education: Undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields (e.g., quality assurance, statistics, engineering).
    • Specialized Experience: One year at GS-09 level or equivalent experience in quality assurance or related fields.
    • Combination of Education and Experience: May qualify if education beyond a master’s degree is combined with experience.
