Job Summary
Cognizant is hiring a skilled Dutch Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate to support drug safety operations in Budapest, Hungary. In this hybrid role, you will perform high-quality case processing, translation, and data entry of adverse event reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to pharmacovigilance standards. Key Responsibilities
Translate and QC Adverse Event reports from Dutch/European non-English sources to English.
Perform data entry and QC into Argus Affiliate/Core database.
Conduct triage, duplicate search, and book-in of cases.
Ensure quality and audit readiness of PV case processing.
Manage queries from central processing teams regarding discrepancies.
Generate follow-up action items and letters for various case types.
Perform anonymization/redaction of AE forms and documents.
Support preparation for audits and inspections as per ICH guidelines.
Identify process improvements, suggest corrective actions, and mentor junior staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacovigilance or clinical experience.
Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of Argus safety database or equivalent PV software.
Understanding of ICH-GCP, GVP, and pharmacovigilance best practices.
Strong analytical, QC, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
