Cognizant is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Specialist (PE) to drive innovation in drug safety using Generative AI within its cutting-edge Research & Development (R&D) and Pharmacovigilance (PV) processes. This hybrid role provides the opportunity to enhance patient safety worldwide by implementing AI-driven methodologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting PV case processing. Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Generative AI tools to interpret pharmacovigilance data and ensure accurate safety reporting.
Collaborate with R&D and PV teams to optimize case processing strategies.
Conduct in-depth research to improve drug safety protocols and procedures.
Drive process innovation to streamline pharmacovigilance workflows.
Evaluate AI-driven impacts on drug safety outcomes.
Deliver data-driven insights to guide pharmacovigilance decisions.
Ensure full compliance with global regulatory standards in PV activities.
Maintain and enhance pharmacovigilance databases and systems.
Support the drafting and submission of safety reports to regulatory bodies.
Detect and analyze safety signals and adverse event trends.
Continuously improve PV practices through research and innovation.
Lead knowledge-sharing and training sessions focused on AI in PV.
Cultivate a collaborative and solution-oriented environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Generative AI applications within pharmacovigilance.
Solid understanding of drug safety research and development processes.
Proven experience in PV case processing and PV management.
Familiarity with global regulatory guidelines and industry PV standards (GVP, ICH-GCP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
