Job Summary
Cognizant is hiring a Process Specialist-CDM/PV to join its dynamic healthcare team. The role focuses on optimizing Pharma R&D processes and managing pharmacovigilance case processing. This position offers a hybrid work environment and rotational shifts, ideal for professionals with 2–4 years of pharma industry experience in PV operations and clinical data management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Pharma R&D process management and optimization for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Perform accurate and timely pharmacovigilance case processing and safety data documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety operations and streamline processes.
Analyze data and prepare reports to support strategic planning in PV activities.
Drive process improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Ensure adherence to global regulatory and industry standards in all PV tasks.
Facilitate coordination across departments to enable seamless workflow integration.
Evaluate process performance, identifying gaps and corrective actions.
Maintain and develop SOPs to ensure high-quality process execution.
Support team training and knowledge development in pharmacovigilance operations.
Resolve technical or process-related challenges to maintain operational continuity.
Engage in continuous process optimization through data-driven insights.
Provide rotational shift support across different time zones.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong background in Pharma R&D and pharmacovigilance case processing.
Proficiency in PV case processing and safety operations.
Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
Experience with regulatory compliance standards in pharma.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model and rotational shifts.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Familiarity with PV process management tools and software.
Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Independent working capability as well as effective team contribution.
Willingness for continuous learning and skill enhancement in PV operations.
