Job Overview

Indegene, a technology-led healthcare solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive global digital transformation initiatives within Medical Affairs. This role will function as a Digital Project Manager (DPM) supporting the end-to-end redesign and rollout of global medical websites across multiple international markets.

The position is embedded within Global Medical (Digital Enablement) and Global MI&C teams and will play a critical role in ensuring standardized medical digital blueprints, analytics readiness, regulatory compliance, and seamless multi-market execution.


Key Responsibilities

Program & Rollout Management

  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end rollout of global medical digital blueprints across approximately 13 international markets.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a master rollout plan, including wave-based deployments, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate recurring market calls, clinics, and cross-functional working sessions to drive alignment and execution.

Feature Prioritization & Delivery

  • Own and manage global and local backlogs, converting market requirements into clearly defined user stories with acceptance criteria.

  • Coordinate discovery, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases in collaboration with global and local teams.

  • Ensure consistent adoption of approved templates, components, and governance standards.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Act as the primary coordination point across Global Medical, Medical Release Train (MDRT), Commercial Digital Hub (CDH), regional markets, analytics teams, IT/Datahub, and external vendors.

  • Drive governance cadence including weekly status reviews, bi-weekly sprint reviews, and monthly steering committee meetings.

  • Proactively escalate risks, issues, and decision points to senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.

Analytics & Performance Enablement

  • Own analytics readiness, including tagging strategies, event taxonomy, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.

  • Coordinate implementation of tag management, consent and cookie tools, analytics platforms, and Datahub integrations.

  • Validate dashboards, document configurations, and track feature adoption and market performance metrics.

Compliance, Privacy & Quality

  • Coordinate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) reviews and maintain complete audit trails.

  • Ensure compliance with privacy, consent, and data protection requirements across all markets.

  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action management to ensure high-quality releases.


Key Deliverables

  • Global rollout plans, wave schedules, and readiness checklists

  • Weekly status reports, RAID logs, decision registers, and market action trackers

  • Prioritized backlogs, release documentation, and go-live sign-off packages

  • Consolidated analytics and performance reports aligned with agreed KPIs


Success Metrics

  • On-time and high-quality market launches aligned with global standards

  • Strong adoption of medical digital blueprints and reusable components

  • Minimal post-launch defects and high stakeholder satisfaction

  • Fully validated analytics, dashboards, and KPI reporting across markets


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in digital project management, global rollout programs, or enterprise platform implementations.

    • Proven experience managing multi-market or global digital initiatives within regulated environments.

  • Technical & Tool Expertise:

    • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) authoring and publishing workflows.

    • Working knowledge of analytics platforms, tag management systems, consent/cookie tools, and Datahub integrations.

    • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Kanban boards, and MS Office.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical affairs environments.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing escalations, RCA documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
