Production Operator

Location:

Middleburgh, NY

Overview:

We are seeking a Production Operator with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our manufacturing team in a clean, safe, and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and federal/state regulatory requirements to uphold production quality standards.
  • Operate, monitor, load, and unload production equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Accurately sign and maintain operations documentation, including batch records and equipment logs, to ensure traceability.
  • Read, interpret, and follow the production schedule to achieve production targets on time.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance departmental efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Lead or Coordinator to support seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a GMP pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and GMP requirements (preferred).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret production schedules and instructions.
  • Experience handling 200+ lb. containers with cranes.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety systems.
  • Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive bending, stretching, stooping, and circular motions.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to cross-train and adapt as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and nights.

Compensation:

Pay rate: $22 - $24 per hour
