Performance Coach – Pharmaceutical Sales | Melbourne, Australia

Job Summary:

Novo Nordisk is hiring a Sales Performance Coach to drive sales force excellence for its Cardiometabolic team in Melbourne. In this role, you will deliver impactful coaching, design tailored sales training, and enhance field effectiveness through performance analytics and strategic alignment. Ideal for senior pharmaceutical sales professionals with a strong foundation in coaching, this opportunity enables you to directly shape the future of chronic disease care in Australia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and communication.

  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs aligned with sales strategy and team needs.

  • Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify performance gaps and track improvements.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging use of training resources and feedback integration.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align coaching efforts with commercial goals and organizational strategies.

  • Facilitate sales workshops and support leadership development in functional competencies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; coaching/training certifications preferred.

  • Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales with a proven record in sales enablement and performance improvement.

  • Strong understanding of sales coaching principles and experience in designing development strategies.

  • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • High organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with commercial, training, and medical teams.
