🔹 Job Summary

Medpace is seeking an experienced Medical Director – Oncology to join our growing global team.
In this leadership role, you will provide medical, scientific, and strategic direction for the design, execution, and reporting of clinical trials in oncology.
You will act as the internal medical expert, collaborating across departments to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality clinical research projects.

💻 This position offers hybrid work-from-home flexibility and can be fully remote for highly experienced candidates.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical management and oversight for ongoing oncology clinical trials.

  • Contribute medical and scientific expertise to clinical study reports, regulatory documents, and publications.

  • Monitor and manage safety issues in clinical trials, including evaluation and risk assessment in collaboration with safety associates.

  • Participate in business development activities, such as proposal reviews and sponsor meetings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all trial phases, including feasibility, study design, and medical review of documents.

  • Ensure all research activities comply with protocols, GCP, and company policies.


🔹 Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with specialization in Oncology (mandatory).

  • Licensing: Must be eligible to obtain a medical license; Board Certification preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Prior clinical trial or research experience strongly preferred.

    • Experience within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry is an advantage.

  • Travel Requirement: Up to 20%.
