Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Middletown, PA
Position Type: Part-Time Contract (One day per week)
Work Focus: Employee Physicals and Regulatory Exams

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Middletown, PA, for a part-time position focused on completing employee physicals and regulatory exams. The role involves collaborating with the facility's Occupational Health nurse and conducting Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and other required exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform DOT physicals and regulatory exams, including eye tests, lead level assessments, EKGs, and other necessary evaluations.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation for all examinations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Occupational Health nurse at the facility.
  • Participate in training sessions over 3-4 Mondays (paid time).

Job Requirements:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania in good standing.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, specifically in completing physicals and regulatory exams.
  • Current BLS or CPR certification.
  • Ability to obtain a badge for the Nuclear Power Plant (process takes 3 days and is paid).
  • Availability for training and adherence to the work schedule when employment begins.

DOT Requirement:
While DOT certification is not mandatory for hire, it is expected to be completed within 6 months to a year.
