Clinical Research Nurse (RN/LPN/Paramedic) – Madison, WI (On-Site)

Job Summary:

Fortrea, a global leader in clinical research, is hiring Clinical Research Nurses for their Madison, WI unit. This full-time on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of early-phase clinical trials. Whether you're a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic, you'll engage directly with healthy participants and contribute to breakthrough drug development while practicing hands-on care in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer vital sign measurements including BP, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature

  • Perform venipuncture and ECG/Holter monitoring

  • Collect and process biological samples according to protocol

  • Monitor dietary compliance for study participants

  • Prepare rooms and medical equipment for procedures

  • Assist with medical screening and ensure protocol adherence

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical research environment


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred

  • Paramedics must be certified

  • 0–1 year of clinical experience in nursing or emergency care

  • Strong attention to protocol compliance, teamwork, and adaptability

  • Comfortable working with electronic data capture systems

  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
