Position Overview:
ProPharma is looking for a multilingual Medical Information Specialist with fluency in Finnish and English to join our Medical Information Department on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time, fully remote position offers a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality medical information services and support on designated clients/products.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer technical questions regarding designated products via phone, email, letter, and fax in a confident, accurate, and professional manner.
Follow established working practices as agreed with clients and ProPharma SOPs.
Recognize and report adverse events and defective product reports, adhering to compliance guidelines.
Translate documents between English and Finnish, ensuring quality and accuracy in both verbal and written responses.
Use standard responses to prepare medical information correspondence or collaborate with the Medical Information Support Services (MISS) department to generate custom responses.
Log all inquiries accurately and timely, ensuring complete documentation.
Maintain confidentiality in line with Data Privacy regulations.
Stay updated on legal and professional guidelines related to medical information provision in the pharmaceutical industry.
Perform quality checks on adverse events, product quality complaints, and other correspondence.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Completed Pharmacy or Life Science degree.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in both Finnish (C1 level) and English.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong translation skills between English and Finnish.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
