Medical Information Assistant

Location: Richmond (North Yorkshire), ProPharma Group


Job Summary

ProPharma Group is seeking a Medical Information Assistant to support the Medical Information (MI) team in their Richmond, North Yorkshire office. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the MI Enquiry Handling teams and senior management in a timely and effective manner. The ideal candidate will assist with various office tasks, including mail management, database handling, and ensuring compliance with company standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Mail and Stationary Management: Open daily incoming mail, frank and post mail, file, archive, and check stationary stock.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance as delegated by management.
  • Phone Reception: Answer the company’s main telephone line in a professional manner, transferring calls appropriately.
  • Receptionist Duties: Occasionally provide reception cover, including greeting visitors and signing them in, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
  • Compliance and Quality: Maintain a high standard of work, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Instructions.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Educational Requirements:
    • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including grade A-C* in Science, English, and Mathematics or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience:
    • Experience using databases in a professional setting.
    • General office administrative experience.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in basic computer tasks and software applications.
