Sr Statistical Programmer – Remote, India
Location: Remote, India
Salary: Competitive senior-level compensation, typically ₹20,00,000 – ₹35,00,000 per annum, with additional performance bonuses, commensurate with expertise in advanced statistical programming.

Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer to deliver high-quality statistical programming solutions in support of global clinical trials. In this role, you will work on SDTM, ADaM, and TLF generation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading biostatisticians, clinical data managers, and global stakeholders while contributing to groundbreaking pharmaceutical and biotech projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and maintain programs to produce analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (SDTM, ADaM, TLF).

  • Provide statistical programming support to statisticians, clinical teams, and clients.

  • Source, organize, and interpret complex datasets, ensuring integrity and compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver outputs on time.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency-enhancing solutions.

  • Mentor junior programmers, providing technical guidance and quality oversight.

  • Ensure alignment with CDISC standards, regulatory submission requirements, and internal SOPs.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statistical programming tools, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end statistical programming for clinical trials.

  • Proficiency in SAS, with strong knowledge of R or Python preferred.

  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 (or equivalent certification).

  • Deep understanding of statistical methodologies, data analysis, and visualization techniques.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
