Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager – HEOR Modeling to lead and advance our Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) modeling initiatives. This role is critical to supporting global pricing, value assessment, and reimbursement strategies by providing insights through health economic models.

The role will report to the Group Lead – Health Economic Modeling & Global Pricing and will manage a team of HEOR modelers (Associates to Associate Managers) while partnering with global HEVA teams and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership:

  • Lead the development and internalization of HEOR modeling processes including cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA), budget impact modeling (BIM), early health economic models, scenario analysis, and global model support.

  • Collaborate with Global HEVA modeling leads, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to execute, validate, and adapt models for payer needs.

  • Mentor, coach, and manage a team of HEOR modelers, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to deadlines.

Modeling & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain complex health economic models, ensuring timely availability for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct scenario analysis, predictive modeling, and inclusion of prospectively collected health economic data.

  • Support local HTA submissions and country-specific reimbursement evaluations.

  • Participate in conceptualization, methodological design, and validation of advanced economic models.

Process & Quality Management:

  • Standardize and enhance HEOR modeling processes to ensure scientific rigor and quality of deliverables.

  • Monitor deliverables to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and global best practices.

  • Collaborate with external vendors as needed to ensure timely project execution.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners, and external vendors to deliver actionable insights.

  • Provide expertise in value assessment, payer engagement, and health economics to support decision-making across Sanofi’s portfolio.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent) in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Biostatistics, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years in HEOR modeling or health economic research.

    • Proven experience in cost-effectiveness modeling, budget impact analysis, survival analysis, or patient-level simulation.

    • Experience leading and mentoring a team of analysts or modelers.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in Excel VBA, with familiarity in R, R-Shiny, or other statistical modeling software.

    • Strong analytical and methodological capabilities in economic modeling.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams.

  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
