Position Overview:

We are seeking a Multilingual Medical Information Specialist fluent in both Italian and English to join our Medical Information Department on a full-time, remote basis. This role, offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, will involve answering medical inquiries and providing high-quality services via phone and email, following training on designated clients/products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer technical questions related to designated products via phone, email, letter, and fax with accuracy, professionalism, and confidence.

  • Follow specific working practices as outlined by clients and ProPharma SOPs.

  • Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints in strict adherence to ProPharma SOPs.

  • Translate English documents to Italian (and vice versa), providing these responses both verbally and in writing, ensuring quality and accuracy.

  • Use standard responses or collaborate with the Medical Information Support Services (MISS) department to generate customized responses.

  • Accurately log all inquiries and manage confidential information according to data privacy regulations.

  • Stay up to date with legal requirements and professional guidelines related to the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Perform quality checks on adverse events, product quality complaints, and other correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Completed Pharmacy or Life Science degree.

  • Language Requirements:

    • Fluent in Italian (C1 level) and English.

  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong translation skills between Italian and English.

    • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

    • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize effectively.

    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
