Position Overview

The Senior Medical Information Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing Medical Information (MI) Teams and ensuring the successful delivery of global MI services. The position focuses on program management, client communication, and quality assurance across all MI operations.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Provide line management to Medical Information Teams, ensuring top-quality Medical Communication services.

  • Lead, mentor, and educate enquiry handlers to maintain excellence and compliance in all MI activities.

  • Supervise and develop team members to support continuous improvement and professional growth.

Service Delivery & Compliance

  • Ensure high-quality MI service delivery, maintaining adherence to KPIs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Oversee all aspects of outsourced MI service delivery, including:

    • Program setup and expansion

    • Program compliance

    • Quality assurance

  • Support Pharmacovigilance (PV) regulatory obligations, including root cause analysis and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Participate in client audits and inspections to ensure compliance and transparency.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement.

  • Collaborate with business development teams to support service expansion and new opportunities.


Qualifications

Education

  • Life Science degree or equivalent required.

  • Healthcare degree preferred.

Experience

  • Proven program management experience in Pharmacovigilance or Medical Information environments.

  • Prior supervisory experience within a Call Center or Medical Information setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and manage teams effectively.

Skills

  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
