Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the Statistical Programming department meets timelines, delivers high-quality results, adheres to contractual and regulatory requirements, and operates within budget.
Contribute to the development of SOPs and guidelines, promoting consistency and efficiency within the department.
Oversee staff development, training, and retention by setting goals, evaluating performance, monitoring training needs, and mentoring team members.
Facilitate succession planning and maintain a team with diverse skills to meet business needs.
Actively participate in hiring, onboarding, staff transfers, and terminations.
Maintain expertise in clinical drug development, ICH guidelines, and statistical programming to effectively mentor the team.
Develop and provide training sessions for Statistical Programming associates.
Manage project priorities and resolve conflicts between teams or individuals to drive operational efficiency.
Assign Statistical Programmers to projects based on skillsets, experience, and utilization goals.
Lead or support projects across multiple studies or programs.
Contribute to business development activities as needed.
Participate in or lead corporate or departmental initiatives.
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
Minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Extensive experience in statistical programming in clinical trials, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Proven management experience or demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong ability to prioritize projects and manage resources effectively.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
