Position Overview
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Neuropsychiatry will be a key member of our medical team, responsible for engaging with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) in the neuropsychiatric field. This role focuses on scientific exchange, patient access, and ensuring the safe use of BMS medicines. The MSL also provides key insights to internal teams to enhance strategy development and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Exchange: Build and maintain relationships with TLs, HCPs, and access stakeholders within your geography. Engage in discussions to understand their scientific needs and align them with BMS's strategic goals.
  • Education and Support: Present scientific data and research findings in a compliant and impactful manner to HCPs, ensuring accurate information on BMS products and disease states.
  • Collaborative Research: Identify opportunities for disease state initiatives, collaborative research, and Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR). Support HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process.
  • Medical Congresses: Attend and participate in medical congresses and meetings, providing meaningful insights and data to inform BMS's strategy.
  • Clinical Trial Support: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential study sites, supporting patient recruitment efforts, and providing insights to clinical development teams.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) and 3-5 years of MSL experience, particularly in psychiatry, mental health, or schizophrenia.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of disease areas, clinical trial design, scientific literature, and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience: Proven track record of establishing relationships with TLs and HCPs, experience translating clinical data into actionable insights.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently, and experience in medical affairs or clinical research.
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel required. Candidates should live within 50 miles of the territory or be willing to relocate.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
