Manager – Supply Chain Projects
Location: Mumbai, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager – Supply Chain Projects to lead logistics, warehousing, and distribution initiatives in a pharmaceutical operations setting. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 7 years' experience in end-to-end supply chain and logistics project management, SAP WMS implementation, CFA operations, and strategic cost optimization. Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Projects:

  • Lead all logistics expansion projects for the function

  • Upgrade infrastructure of CFAs and manage warehouse transitions

  • Coordinate with Global Purchase to close RFQs

  • Drive network optimization and distribution strategy planning

Supply Chain Excellence:

  • Ensure compliance at CFA locations

  • Conduct CFA certification audits and identify improvement areas

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives

  • Support global supply chain and cost reduction projects through RFQs and e-auctions

  • Manage SAP enhancement projects across the supply chain

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee primary distribution centers

  • Implement SAP WMS in all PDCs

  • Conduct benchmarking and introduce warehouse automation

Budgeting & Spend Management:

  • Prepare and manage F&D budgets

  • Drive profitability initiatives and monitor GL & CC postings

  • Track and report budget vs spend

Distribution QA:

  • Ensure SOP compliance for site qualification

  • Collaborate with QA teams during global audits


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering (BE/BTech preferred)

  • Postgraduate in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Research

  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Proven expertise in large-scale supply chain and logistics projects

  • Deep knowledge of CFA, warehouse operations, sales commercial practices, SAP, and transport operations

  • Strong people management and leadership abilities

  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills
