You’ll translate complex clinical/scientific data into accurate, engaging, patient- and HCP-ready omnichannel content, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure regulatory-compliant delivery across digital and print assets.

This is a high-impact role for senior medical writers/copy leads who understand brand strategy, MLR review mechanics, modular content, and omnichannel execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Copywriting & Content Development

    • Write scientifically accurate, compelling copy for HCPs, patients, and caregivers (sales aids, websites, social, email, education tools, press materials).

    • Translate complex clinical data into clear, compliant messaging without losing scientific rigor.

    • Align tone, structure, and messaging with brand strategy, creative briefs, and therapeutic area goals.

    • Iterate content based on internal feedback and MLR reviewer comments.

  • Veeva PromoMats / MLR Review Ownership

    • Prepare, submit, annotate, and track content in Veeva Vault PromoMats.

    • Link claims to source references; maintain core claims documents and content matrix.

    • Coordinate follow-ups, revisions, approvals; maintain strict version control and audit trails.

  • Stakeholder & Project Leadership

    • Partner with Account, Strategy, Creative, and Regulatory Ops teams to deliver accurate, on-brand assets.

    • Lead timelines, deliverables, and regulatory-compliant documentation across multiple projects.

    • Support modular/omnichannel content strategy to scale and repurpose assets efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 11+ years in healthcare communications or medical advertising agencies (AMA experience preferred).

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharma, science, or medicine (or equivalent).

  • Strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, scientific storytelling, and channel versatility (HCP, patient, consumer).

  • Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats, MLR submission, and annotation.

  • Solid understanding of omnichannel marketing and modular content workflows.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication, client-facing presentation, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and deliver compliant, high-quality copy in a fast-paced setup.

  • Cross-functional learning with creative, strategy, tech, and analytics teams.
